Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Tuesday, 11/25/14



On Tuesday negotiated cash trade was mostly inactive on light demand in Kansas. 

However on Wednesday morning trade was light to moderate on moderate demand with live 

sales steady compared to last week at 173.00. Trade was mostly inactive on light 

demand in all other feeding regions. In the Texas Panhandle last week, a few live 

sales sold at 172.00 on a very light test. In Nebraska last week, live sales sold 

from 170.00-173.00 with a few up to 174.50 with dressed sales from 267.00-268.00. In 

Colorado for the previous week, live sales sold from 173.00-174.00 on a light test. 

In the Western Cornbelt last week, live sales sold from 170.00-171.00 with dressed 

sales from 267.00-268.00.
