Milk Recalled Over Pasteurization Concerns
New York State Agriculture Commissioner Patrick Hooker alerted consumers on Tuesday that Bethel Livestock Farm, Swan Lake, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling certain milk products due to improper pasteurization. Proper pasteurization heats milk in order to effectively eliminate all pathogenic bacteria, such as Listeria and Salmonella.
