To date, Nebraska remains among the states with no reported cases of the Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV). However, neighboring states have reported cases of PEDV making it necessary for Nebraska's hog farmers to be vigilant.

Leading experts from the National Pork Board, Iowa State University and the Nebraska Department of Agriculture are assembling the latest information on the disease and protocol that has been put into place to prevent the spread of disease.

The seminar will be held on Dec. 16 at the Holiday Inn Express in Columbus, Neb. Registration check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the program will conclude at 3:30 p.m.

There are no registration fees. Registration is required for meal counts.
