Current weather conditions and trends in the Ohio Valley and Midwest region may delay corn crop planting this spring, reports AccuWeather.com. Corn planting usually starts in early April in southern Missouri and southern Illinois and movies north by early May.
Wet conditions and cooler soil temperatures in the area have delayed the start of planting. Conditions in the region are forecast to remain cool and wet most of April and warm up in May resulting in the delayed planting.
