Run by a "cooperative" of pork producers, Triumph Foods' new plant will produce fresh pork products for retail, foodservice and further-processing customers.

The plan is for the Triumph plant to begin processing by fall 2005. The Seaboard/Triumph marketing agreement is still subject to several contingencies, reports Meatingplace.com, including Triumph obtaining financing and completing plant construction.
