Stories about the U.S. pork industry have flooded the headlines since last April's Novel H1N1 2009 influenza outbreak. Much time and many challenges have passed within the industry since them.

But as the weather turns warmer, thousands of pork producers will gather at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa, on June 9-11. There, U.S. producers and their counterparts from around the globe will join to discuss the state of the industry and new production technologies that will make their operations more sustainable.

Mark your calendars and plan to attend the 2010 World Pork Expo to visit with your fellow producers and others who have  impacted today's pork industry. A varied and extensive list of seminars, exhibits and information sessions will be on tap, as well as the world famous trade show.

World Pork Expo is presented by the National Pork Producers Council. Visit the World Pork Expo Web site  to receive the most up-to-date information.
