With Labor Day over, AgCareers.com has available a report that will help agribusiness employers better understand labor practices among their organizations. The 2007Agribusiness HR Review is now available for purchase for agribusiness employers across the United States.

The annual Agribusiness HR Review provides insight, market knowledge and data on a range of human resource practices and trends relevant to agribusiness. All data is presented in a confidential manner. The report is comprised of responses to a 40-plus questionnaire that is completed online and yields an electronic report of HR data and trend information in a graphic and detailed interpretation.

The Agribusiness HR Review will benchmark salary reviews; human resource management practices; management performance schemes; benefits/salary packaging information; and recruitment practices. A few examples of the key findings from the 2007 Agribusiness HR Review report include:

  • Greater than 95 percent of companies experienced an increase in salaries of greater than 2.1 percent in the last 12 months.
  • More than 30 percent of agribusinesses experienced employee turnover greater than 20 percent.

The report is available to ALL organizations, even those that did not contribute data. For pricing information or to purchase this resource, contact Mary Barefoot, AgCareers.com Special Projects Manager, by phone: (800) 929-8975 or by e-mail: mary.barefoot@agcareers.com. To learn more about the Agribusiness HR Review and how the information can be used, please join us for a free web seminar on Oct. 10, at 10:30 am (EST).  To register for this session, contact Mary Barefoot.
