The National Institute for Animal Agriculture annual meeting in Sacramento this week featured a symposium titled “Impacts of Animal Production Safety Practices on the Food Supply.” During last Thursday's symposium, Dr. Birgit Puschner, University of California-Davis, spoke about the "Importance of Veterinary Toxicology for Animal Agriculture 
and the Food Supply."
