Quality and consistency issues in the pork industry will be the focus of PORK 101- a hands-on program scheduled for Oct. 21-23 at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
The course, which is hosted by the American Meat Science Association in cooperation with the National Pork Board, is geared toward anyone involved in the production, processing and marketing of pork.
The registration fee is $495 for AMSA members and $545 for non-members. Registration fee includes all course materials, course workbook, dinner on Tuesday and lunch and dinner on Wednesday.
