The annual pork industry handbook is now available in both DVD and book formats. It’s the premier reference for modern American pork production. It contains over 180 science-based and tested fact sheets for pork producers and related industries. The DVD contains calculators, spreadsheets, color photos, web links, and video clips.

Authors of the reference, Purdue University Extension and the U.S. Pork Center of Excellence, have released the annual Pork Industry Handbook and DVD, saying the 2008 version is a must-have for pig producers.

The book and DVD offer current production and management strategies, including how to improve pork production management while covering subjects such as swine health, facilities and equipment, swine nutrition, breeding and genetics and marketing for profit, among others.
