Celebrity chef Guy Fieri has found a pork recipe so delicious that it has been deemed winner of the "golden tongs," coveted prize of the "Bring it t-ON-g! Pork Grilling Challenge". The competition was conducted over the summer in conjunction with the National Pork Board.
The new winner of the prize is Steven Overlay, Henderson, Nev., whose "Poppin’ Pork Burgers with Green Apple Slaw" impressed Food Network chef Fieri.
"Steven's burgers were bold, and I dug the flavor combination he used," the hip chef said. "Judging was no simple task — each of these recipes was the bomb — and I was impressed that they all used different flavors and ways to prepare pork."
Overlay took the tongs over two other finalists who recently had a grill-off on a rooftop in New York City for a chance to win $5,000.
