Pork burgers will again set the pace for race fans during the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard on July 27-29, following a successful promotional campaign that was held during the Memorial Day weekend in conjunction with this year's Indy 500.

“Due to the great promotional success at the Indy 500, we will be handing out 6,000 samples at three area Marsh grocery stores the Friday before the race,” says Jarrod Sutton, retail marketing manager, Midwest division, for the National Pork Board. “It’s a great opportunity for pork producers to meet consumers and place that great pork product in the hands of consumers.”

Teaming up with Hormel and the Indianapolis-based Marsh grocery chain, producers will grill up pork burgers for consumers at the track Saturday in between qualifying runs and the last practice session at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
