A one-day program on swine production is scheduled for March 4 in Columbia, Mo. The "Passion For Pigs" conference will take place at the Stoney Creek Inn. The event will feature presentations by Larry Firkins, DVM, University of Illinois, Scott Dee, DVM, University of Minnesota, Chris Kuster, DVM, Kuster Research and Consulting as well as Dennis DiPietre, economist, Knowledge Ventures.
Stephen Patterson, DVM, Northeast Veterinary Services, will host the event. JD Fiechtner, general manager, Pork Vision and Kerry Keffaber, DVM, Elanco Animal Health among others will make presentations. A trade show and industry-sponsored presentations also will be featured at the event.
The first 100 registrants receive free basketball tickets for the Missouri/Oklahoma game scheduled for the evening of the conference. Registration before Feb 14 is $50 per person. For three or more attending from the same company, the registration is $40 per person. After Feb. 14, registration is $60 per person.
