The Minnesota Pork Board annual meeting is scheduled for Dec. 4 at the Best Western Hotel in North Mankato, MN. The meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. and conclude at 5:30 p.m. After the meeting, there will be a social hour, dinner, and a presentation from nationally recognized speaker, seminar leader, and business consultant, Mary Jo Paloranta.

To help with meal planning and to assure ample handouts and ballots, pork producers who plan to attend the meeting are asked to pre-register by calling the MPB office at 1-800-537-7675 or by e-mailing mnpork@mnpork.com. The MPB administers Pork Checkoff programs relating to research, consumer and producer education, and promotion. The meeting agenda includes executive board member elections, resolutions, financial report, and program reports.

Attendees to the annual meeting will elect 12 individuals to serve one-year terms on the executive board of the MPB and to serve as Pork Act Delegates. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor during the annual meeting.
