The Minnesota Pork Congress is set for Jan. 20-21 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The tradeshow will provide 15 seminars on current pork production and management topics.
A manure applicator recertification workshop will be held on Jan. 20. Other topics being covered are Transport Quality Assurance Certification, Market Outlook, PRRS Eradication Update, Farming Your Online Community, Pork's Carbon Footprint, Twitter Techniques, and Pork Quality Assurance Plus Certification among others.
Producer education seminars will also be available. Seminars will be available on Pork Quality Assurance Plus Certification, State Legislative Update, Understanding Wean-Pig Crush Margins, Pork and Beans and Improving Euthanasia Methods.
Pork production is Minnesota's leading agricultural industry and accounts for nearly 20 percent of the state's agricultural business.
