The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has finalized a Consent Agreement to study air emissions from pork, dairy, egg and poultry operations.

The final notice was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 31. This now means you have until April 30, 2005 to sign-up for the study or lose out on the legal protection the agreement provides. There will be no deadline extension.

The National Pork Producers Council is partnering with various state pork producer organizations to provide a series of informational seminars for pork producers to learn more about this important issue.
