The Des Moines Register reports pork is looking to replace its tagline “The Other White Meat,” which it has used for over 20 years.

The famous tagline was used to show pork as an alternative to red meat, but consumers view pork as a white meat alternative with less taste than fish or chicken. National Pork Board Vice President Ceci Snyder says consumers want variety and it must be communicated that pork can offer that.

The current tagline will be used sparingly to protect the trademark, nothing has been released regarding what the new campaign will say.
