Daily National Grain Market Summary
Grain and soybean bids were slight to moderately higher on a light trading
day. The grains saw support from outside market forces. Wheat also saw a boost
from dry weather in the winter wheat areas. The weekly export sales for corn
were good coming in at 769,800 tons of old crop and 188,800 tons of new crop.
Weekly export sales for soybeans were also supportive coming in at 543,600 tons
and meal sales came in at 197,900 tons, with oil at 124,100 tons. Wheat export
sales were good coming in at 635,400 tons. Wheat was 2 cents higher. Corn was
4-5 cents higher. Soybeans were 8-11 cents higher.
