Cattle Receipts: 490 Last week: 417 Last year: 619
Compared to last week: Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls
steady on a light test. Feeders mostly 1.00-8.00 lower on a light test with
some bulls 15.00 lower.
Supply included about 285 feeder calves, 84 feeder yearlings, 55 replacement
cows, 59 slaughter cows, and 7 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 20
percent steers, 43 percent heifers, and 37 percent bulls. Near 23 percent of
the run weighed over 600 lbs. Prices follow with weighted average price in
parenthesis.
