Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Wednesday
Thus far for Wednesday, negotiated cash trade was inactive on light to moderate
demand in the Southern Plains and Colorado. In Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt
trade was limited on moderate demand. Not enough sales in any feeding region for an
adequate market test. The latest established market in the Texas Panhandle was last
week with live sales at 126.00. In Kansas for the previous week, live sales traded at
125.00. In Nebraska last week, live sales traded from 125.00-126.00 with dressed
sales from 196.00-197.00. In Colorado for the prior week, live sales traded at
126.00. In the Western Cornbelt last week, live sales traded at 125.00 with dressed
sales from 195.00-196.00.
