Compared to last week: Feeder and stocker steers and heifers mostly steady, except
400-600 lb steers 3.00 lower, no comparison over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00
higher, bulls steady to strong. Trade Active, demand good. Bulk of supply medium and
large 1-2 300-600 lb feeder steers and heifers. Slaughter cows 18 percent of the
offering, slaughter bulls 3 percent, bred cows 5 percent, pairs 4 percent, feeders 70
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 49 percent; heifers 51
percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs total 6 percent.
Steers: Medium and Large 1: Few 200-300 lbs 211.00-215.00; few 315-347 lbs 212.50-
217.00; 350-400 lbs 185.00-194.00, value added 203.00-203.50; 400-500 lbs 181.50-
