   Annual Thanksgiving Bred Heifer and Cow Auction with temperatures in 
the low 70’s brought a capacity crowd to the seats. A lot of local buyers 
were in attendance along with buyers from the Southern Plains and other 
surrounding states. Demand was good throughout the day. Most bred heifers 
were AI’d for a short calving period. Several complete and partial 
dispersals sold in the mix. Most offerings consisted of black hided with 
some Hereford and red hided in the mix. Supply included 80 percent bred 
heifers and cows with the balance on slaughter cows and bulls. Wednesday, 
November 28, will be a Special Calf and Feeder Auction. 

   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1  Bred Heifers AI’d for Feb 1000-1150 lbs 
1550.00-1825.00, few 1850.00-1975.00. Bull bred heifers Jan/Feb 1060-1140 
lbs 1325.00-1560.00.  3-4 yrs for Feb/Mar 1150-1350 lbs 1375.00-1725.00. 
Solid Mouth Feb/Mar 1275-1500 lbs 1235.00-1350.00. Short Solid and 
Spreaders Feb/Mar 1325-1520 lbs 1025.00-1300.00. Broken Mouth Feb/Mar 
1250-1450 lbs 1050.00-1080.00.   Medium and Large 1-2  Bred Heifers AI’d 
for Feb 975-1175 lbs 1275.00-1450.00, Mar 850-975 lbs 1260.00-1300.00.
