Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Cattle Auctions that were held Monday Feb 18, 2013

   Cattle auctions at Blackshear (70), Carroll Co. (518), Eastanollee 
(502), Fitzgerald (135), Swainsboro (242) and Thomaston (20). Receipts 
Monday 1,487 week ago 1,503 and year ago 1,781. Compared to one week
earlier, slaughter cows and bulls mostly steady, feeder steers and
heifers unevenly steady, steer calves steady to 2.00 higher, heifer calves      
mostly steady, replacement cows steady to 3.00 higher.

Slaughter cows 15 percent, slaughter bulls 3 percent and feeders 82 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 45 percent 
of the run, heifers 29 percent and replacement cows 26 percent, steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 17 percent.
