Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 03/20/2013
 
Receipts:  6044    Last Week:  7613    Year Ago:  2837
 
Compared to last week:  Feeder steers 3.00 to 5.00 lower.  Feeder 
heifers 4.00 to 6.00 lower.  Steer and heifer calves 8.00 to 10.00 
lower.  Grass type cattle saw the most declines due to severe 
losses on the CME feeder cattle future boards, especially in the late
ummer and fall contracts months.  Demand moderate to light.  
Quality was average to mostly attractive. Supply included 75 
percent over 600 lbs; 33 percent heifers.
