The Livestock and Poultry Environmental Learning Center is offering new resources on manure handling, storage and mortality. The LPE management team has assembled a set of resources that represent the most current science-based knowledge in this topic area.

This team's work includes information about "traditional" manure handling, storage and land application as well as managing routine and catastrophic mortalities.

The Center’s Web site, found at, offers sections on the value and economics of manure management, air quality, environmental planning, feed management and others.

There are also lists of "recommended reading", archived webcasts, information for small farms, and links to the "best of the best" resources available in this topic area.
