Does this look like a factory farm to you?

Pictures speak 1,000 words, and hopefully Erin Brenneman’s photo of her son holding a piglet will help to bust the “factory farm” myth that often surrounds large-scale farming operations.

Brenneman, a PorkNetwork blogger and part of the Brenneman Pork family, posted the photo on Twitter to share her #RealPigFarming story as part of a social media campaign sponsored by the National Pork Board.

The #RealPigFarming campaign encourages the nation’s pork producers to share photos and experiences online using the hashtag, #RealPigFarming. Read, “Pork Checkoff launches social media blitz.”
