A current listing of swine extension and research faculty members at IowaStateUniversity is now available on the Iowa Pork Industry Center Web site. This updated version is current as of January, and includes photos, contact information and main research areas for more than 40 faculty members. The table of contents is organized by subject matter, which ranges from air and water quality to food safety to welfare.

IPIC director John Mabry says the updated list should be a useful tool for anyone interested in swine production, and encourages people to get acquainted with the names and faces in the list.

“We want everyone to be aware of the breadth of research pertaining to the pork industry being done here at IowaState,” says Mabry. “Faculty from the colleges of Agriculture, Engineering, Human Sciences and Veterinary Medicine are involved both in doing research and getting those results out to clients who need and want that information.”
