The Farm Estate and Business Planning Seminar focuses on practical solutions to common estate and business planning problems facing farm firms, and will be held Sept. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Quality Inn & Suites, 2601 E. 13th St. in Ames. The seminar will provide attorneys, certified public accountants and other tax professionals with the latest information on the legal and tax issues associated with planning farm estates and structuring farm businesses. Participants can earn seven hours of continuing education credits. The fee is $135.
Insurance underwriters and real estate professionals can attend the 23rd annual Iowa Real Estate and Insurance seminar on Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Quality Inn & Suites in
