You can get the annual Iowa State University animal science research report on a CD-ROM or online.

"This year's report again combines reports from researchers across campus, including research as it relates to the pork, beef, dairy, equine, poultry and sheep industries in Iowa," says Maynard Hogberg, chair of the animal science department.

The research covers such things as improving production efficiencies, environmental quality, animal product quality and food safety.

Researchers in the departments of agricultural and biosystems engineering, animal science, natural resource ecology and management, economics and veterinary diagnostic and production animal medicine contributed to the report.
