Chicago will host the 2008 International PRRS Symposium. The event is set for Dec. 5-6, 2008 at the downtown Marriott in Chicago. The symposium, entitled "PRRSV Reverse Genetics: From the Laboratory to the Field" will be held will be held prior to the Conference of Researcher Workers in Animal Diseases.
This year's program will feature international keynote speakers, highlighting the use of reverse genetics in understanding Virus-Host Interaction and Pathogenesis, Structure and Function, and Vaccine and Immunity, as well as emerging areas of PRRSV research in epidemiology and evolution.
There is no cost for registration and lunch will be provided on Saturday. Online registration is now open at the Symposium website. The registration deadline is November 10, 2008.
