The 2008 Illinois Pork Expo will be held Feb. 5-6 at the Peoria Civic Center. The Pork Expo will again offer full agenda with something for producers, contract growers, employees, allied industry and youth.

“IPPA realizes that the higher grain prices and low hog prices have put producers in a tight squeeze,” said Jim Kaitschuk, IPPA executive director. “IPPA has focused many relevant seminars at the 2008 IL Pork Expo to address this issue and offer some advice for how to withstand this downturn.”

There are numerous well-known speakers from across the country who will address many current topics and issues. The theme of this year's educational seminars is "Management Strategies for Improved Profitability". A complete seminar schedule listing seminar topics, speakers, and times is available at www.ilpork.com.
