Nearly 800 hogs were killed Monday in a fire at an Illinois hog confinement facility. My Journal Courier reports that firefighters were called to the farm around 2:00 a.m. The farm is owned by Randy and Craig Schone who were raising the hogs, owned by High Ridge Pork.
