Responsible pork producers are committed to providing consumers with safe and healthy products, and healthy pork products come from healthy animals. As pork producers work hard to manage their herds' health, they are looking for alternative methods to reduce their need for antibiotics.  One important factor is to promote good gut health in the young pig.

This month’s Hub podcast from Hubbard Feeds features Brad Lawrence, Novus International’s technical manager of the pork business team for North America. He will explore how healthy hogs = healthy pork.

Lawrence will review feeding strategies that can result in improved acidification of the pig’s gut, which aids in digestion and enzyme activation. He also will outline ways to optimize nutrient utilization and performance in the young pig.
