The National Institute for Animal Agriculture annual meeting in Sacramento this week featured a symposium titled “Impacts of Animal Production Safety Practices on the Food Supply.”

Symposim Keynote speaker Dr. Michael Doyle, director of the Center for Food Safety at the University of Georgia, spoke about "Foodbourne Illnesses and Antibiotic Resistance Associated with Zoonotic Pathogens."
