Autentico Foods, a Hawaiian Gardens, Calif., establishment, is recalling approximately 54,000 pounds of ready-to-eat pork products, according to Meatingplace.com. USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the products were not produced in accordance with its food safety plan,

The FSIS said Autentico failed to take the steps it had determined were necessary to produce safe products.

The problem was discovered when FSIS inspectors reviewed company records.  The review uncovered evidence the establishment’s food safety records did not comply with its Listeria prerequisite program.
