Drought status elevated for Kansas counties
Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback has updated the drought declaration for the state. The update includes moving 13 counties to emergency status and adding six counties to watch status. Kansas Water Office (KWO) Director Tracy Streeter recommended the status update.
