The series started in December 2004, with the first topic; Soybean Rust: What you and your growers need to know and Dr. Monte Miles was featured as keynote speaker. The January seminar featured speakers from Bayer CropScience and highlighted Fungicide Control Options and Fungicide Supply Issues. The first two seminars were both very well received by participants, with 75.4% of participants in the Jan. 19th seminar stating that the information was "very useful" to their business.
The past seminars are available in their entirety online at: www.stopsoybeanrust.com; and all seminars will be available after their live presentation.
"The two webinars that have been held so far have been very positively received by participants for both content and ease-of-use. The ag retailers find the information very useful for their businesses and they like being able to participate from their own offices, and the activity on our Web site after the presentations shows that the information is being continually reviewed and revisited," says Greg Vincent, associate publisher and editor of Dealer & Applicator and moderator of the webinars.
