U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) President and CEO Philip Seng is on his way to Bonn, Germany, for the World Pork Conference, which is being hosted Oct. 6-7 by the International Meat Secretariat.

In this week's audio report, Seng discusses some of the issues he expects to be front-and-center at the World Pork Conference, including food security, sustainability and rising production costs.

Also attending will be USMEF Chair-elect Danita Rodibaugh, a pork producer from Rensselaer, Ind., and a longtime leader in the U.S. pork industry. Ms. Rodibaugh will be a featured speaker at the conference, addressing pork consumption trends and the nutritional attributes of U.S. pork.
