The “Passion for Pigs” seminar and trade show will take place at two Iowa locations this fall, organizers have announced. The seminars are hosted by Stephen Patterson, DVM, founder of and owner of BoarMax Inc. Boar Studs.

Keynote presentations will feature Dr. Mike Brumm, ”Impact of heavier market weights on facility & equipment needs” and Dr. Dennis DiPietre, “Critical mistakes you must avoid during times of extreme profit challenge,” as well as Patterson.

Updates will be provided by the Iowa Pork Producers Association, Iowa State University Diagnostic Laboratory and the National Pork Board.

In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy Iowa State University or University of Iowa basketball games.

Cost to register is $40 and includes admission to the basketball games. For three or more attendees from the same group, the cost is $30 each.
