Want a chance to share your stories with consumers? Then volunteer to help out at the numerous events that are hosted throughout the year. Consumers want to know how their food is raised and they want to meet the people who raise it.

Pig farmers, farm employees, growers, allied business people and families are encouraged to volunteer.  

Volunteer requirements are pretty simple – basic understanding of hog care, enjoy meeting new people, interest in socializing with your peers, and keen on having a good time.

Volunteers will be reimbursed mileage to and from an event, parking and admission into events that have an entrance fee. Volunteers are asked to provide their own smiles and positive attitudes. A shift is typically four hours long.
