Parts of Interstate 64 in Shelby County, Kentucky were closed for hours after a semi hauling hogs overturned early this morning. LEX18.com reports that crews worked for hours to right the truck and catch loose hogs.

Eighty-five hogs remained inside the trailer, but an unknown number escaped the wreckage. According to WKYT27, one hog was killed.

The accident occurred around 3:00 a.m. when the driver of the semi lost control, causing the truck to overturn in a ditch.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

Crews were able to re-open the interstate about four hours after the accident.
