Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch? There will be when you stop by the Pork Checkoff Hospitality Tent during the 2014 World Pork Expo (WPX), held June 4 to 7 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Pork Checkoff will serve lunch starting at noon on Wednesday, June 4, and Thursday, June 5. Breakfast and bacon snacks also will be served daily at the Pork Checkoff Hospitality Tent, which will be located on the north side of the Varied Industries Building.

The Pork Checkoff Hospitality Tent will be the new location for the noon business luncheons featuring Elwin Taylor, Iowa State University Extension climatologist, and Steve Meyer, president of Paragon Economics, who will present weather and market updates.

When you’re at WPX, also be sure to visit the Pork Checkoff at Booth No. 120 in the Varied Industries Building for updates on Checkoff-funded programs.
