“I love bacon, I eat it everyday,” says Pearl Cantrell, a woman from Richland Springs, Texas, who recently celebrated her 105th birthday.

Sharing her thoughts on long life with local television station KRBC, she detailed life in her younger days working and raising a family in agriculture.

"I would go to the field and work till dinner, then come home to fix dinner, then I would go back out to the field and work again until supper,” says Cantrell.

Cantrell spent her latest birthday celebrating for 3 days with over 200 people at the schoolhouse she attended as a youth near the community of Brownwood.

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile even paid a visit to Cantrell after hearing about her love for bacon.

A spokesperson for Oscar Mayer stated, "We've seen a lot of stories on the road, but nothing quite like this one, so we're excited to be here. We know she's an inspiration. Pearl is an inspiration for the community, and her friends and family. So we had to make a special stop here for her today."

Cantrell was able to ride around in the Wienermobile waving at onlookers in Richland Springs.

After her ride Cantrell said, "I will never, ever forget this, for the rest of my life."
