The 2010 International PRRS Symposium will be held Dec. 3-4 at the downtown Marriott in Chicago. The symposium will precede the Conference of Researcher Workers in Animal Diseases.

The topics for this year's program include epidemiology, heterogeneity and evolution of PRRSV, virus-host interaction and pathogenesis, structural and functional relationship of PRRSV genes, vaccine and immunity against PRRSV.

Scheduled keynote speakers include Ralph Baric from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Eric Snijder from the Leiden University in The Netherlands

There is no cost for registration and lunch will be provided on Dec. 4. Deadline for abstract submissions is Aug. 25.

Online registration and abstract submission will open soon at the Symposium website; those requiring visas are encouraged to register as early as possible so visa letters can be processed.
