The National Pork Producers Council, Indiana Pork Producers Association, National Corn Growers Association and the Indiana Corn Marketing Council, will host the 2008 Corn and Pork Trade Symposium. The event will be held in Indianapolis, Ind., on July 8. The registration deadline for the symposium is June 27.
During the one-day event, corn growers and pork producers will have an opportunity to learn about how trade impacts the corn and pork industries.
Invited luncheon speakers include Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels and Indiana Agriculture Director Andy Miller. There also will be trade economics and policy presentations by Dermot Hayes, Iowa State University; Paul Drazek, DTB Associates, LLP; and James Wiesemeyer, Informa Economics.
