The 2007 Iowa Pork Congress will be held at Hy-Vee Hall in the
“It’s All Here!” is the theme of the 35th annual show. The nation’s largest winter swine trade show will feature nearly 300 companies, including several new exhibitors, 20 educational opportunities and many other events and activities.
Nearly 500 booths will cover the spacious trade show floor and producers will be hard pressed to find so many ag- and swine-related companies under one roof elsewhere. Accounting firms, animal-health companies, barn-cleaning equipment suppliers, construction contractors, feed-related companies and more will have their products and services on display. The Exhibit Hall will be open from to Jan. 24 and Jan. 25.
A key component of the two-day show is the valuable educational opportunities available to producers. Industry experts will share new insights in porcine circovirus associated disease and other herd-health issues, animal well-being, sow culling, various regulations, ethanol and distillers dried grains, and specialty pork marketing strategies. The Iowa Pork Congress is open to all pork producers, allied-businesses and others involved in the pork industry. Pre-registration is now underway at a per-person cost of $4.
