Tyson Foods is dishing up a delicious new appetizer option for sparerib lovers. Packed with flavor, the pre-cooked, glazed ‘Anytizer’ pork riblets are now available for consumers looking for a tasty and convenient appetizer.
“This is another groundbreaking example of a value-added pork product in the fresh meat case that can help drive pork sales and increase profit margins,” says Rick O’Fallon, retail marketing manager for the National Pork Board. He adds that ‘Anytizers’ make great party appetizers and finger food.
Tyson’s ‘Anytizers’ are made from pork spareribs that are cut into riblets. More than 1,600 Safeway supermarkets across the nation are carrying the product, which has been selling well. In addition, the 18-ounce package features Tyson’s “Support Your School” promotion. Consumers can cut off the label from the product and submit the label at their local school. The school will receive 35 cents back from Tyson for every label received.
