Using its consumer-trusted name, Tyson Foods is introducing a new line of individually frozen, ready-to-cook pork, beef and chicken products. The initial launch will occur on the west coast. Tyson’s pork and beef cuts come in easy-open, resealable packages.
The new frozen pork entrees, all made from the loin, are available in three popular varieties: stuffed, breaded and lemon pepper. The breaded and lemon pepper products come in a 25-ounce package, that includes six chops. The stuffed chops come in a 25-ounce package that offers four chops.
“This is one of the more significant branding initiatives ever undertaken in the protein industry,” says John Tyson, the company’s chairman of the board. “Our vision is to leverage the equity we have built in the Tyson brand of chicken during the last 68 years, and establish Tyson as the preeminent brand of chicken, beef and pork.”
