The Animal Care and Handling Conference, sponsored by the American Meat Institute Foundation, will take place on Oct. 19-20, at the Westin Crown Center, Kansas City, Mo. The conference is the leading animal-welfare education opportunity for meat companies and will feature several new sessions this year.
