This resource also contains Swine Day publication archives, plus articles on swine health and production topics such as sow feed additives and piglet health tips.
  • With more ethanol and distillers’ dried grains with solubles on the market today, mycotoxins are gaining attention. The National Corn Growers Association Web site features a special section devoted to the topic. It provides information on management practices, guidelines for acceptable mycotoxin levels for feed and links to mycotoxin research. 
  •  In response to this summer’s foot-and-mouth disease outbreak in the United Kingdom, the National Center for Foreign Animal and Zoonotic Disease has launched this Web portal. There you will find answers to frequently asked questions, breaking news stories, links to FMD research and more.  The U.S. Department of Homeland Security recognizes the disease as a major potential risk to the U.S. economy.
